Used to own the original before the "Nashville studio cat's best kept secret" wasn't much of a secret anymore. Sold it for, hm, maybe 15 bucks or so. This thing was meant to be a very, very affordable overdrive when it came out (just as all the other Nobels pedals) and in no way a mean secret weapon.
Whatever, I think these days I'd rather get a Wampler Belle myself.

I have a clone of one of these in the build process. I missed a few components when I placed the order for everything for 4 pedal builds. I need to get back to working on these and finish them up.

Have you had a peek the guts? I'd love to know if these are SMD or through hole.

The build quality is definitely not the best but it's unique for me with a wide tonal variety.

It's a really good project. The bass pot works really well on it.

I got the anniversary model recently as well. Cool pedal. I love it with a little bass cut.

I couldn't use it without the cut. Maybe on single coils but I mostly play humbucker guitars.

I like the full bass response with my strat but a tele or humbuckers definitely needs the bass knocked back a bit for me.
