So my ANCIENT Ipad has been killing me the last few gigs. Needing activated every inopportune time without a data connection, not finding the Adobe files I have been using in the app for YEARS. It's time. I am blind as a bat but DONE with a tablet clamped in front of my eyes. I can't have it anymore. I use it for notation on like one song as well as lyrics for some of the verbose rap stuff we do. I could sit at home all day and recite the lyrics over and over but I just can't bring myself to do it.
24" monitor with pivot stand. Dell small form factor PC velcro'd to the back. (Will be done after the weekend most likely). I'll be running PDFs or powerpoints for lyrics.
Should be able to use a light/speaker stand to put it down to the side and be out of my face. Should hopefully be ready by our July 3rd show. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
Obviously; it's time to put me in a home because all my music dreams have died. But I'm somehow excited? \m/
