No more Presonus: Fender Studio Pro

Studio One wasn’t a great name to begin with tbf, especially as new versions came along. A bit odd to brand it Fender, I guess we’ll see if people call it by its fall name or abbreviate it to Studio Pro

I thought the StudioOne series was getting more electronic music-oriented with each release. The Fender version has 39 guitar amps (fingers crossed for the 5150 III, Iconic) and 39 bass amps, along with a ton of stompbox effects. It also has built-in drum beats. Hopefully, this signals a return to producing a product for musicians instead of TikTok rappers and TS wannabes.

Based on older Mustang algos. Money for old rope I guess, but I’d imagine they’d sell more TMP’s if they offered their flagship tones to users. I think there are still a subset of users who have it in their heads that HW=better quality and I guess they want to protect that.

Putting their flagship stuff in might make people want to check it out/open their wallets and check out a sub. In turn it likely leads to HW sales.

Are you sure? Some of the names of the amps, some of the UI choices and the stompboxes are equal to the ones on TMP. I can only try next week though

I am downloading it right now. I was surprised to see some free Eventide VSTs bundled with the product, ShimmerVerb and TemprenceLite.
