Just got this in yesterday and pretty happy. Was fiending for a crackle but wasn't trying to spend 2k on an 80s model. Also wasn't impressed with the X series necks that I tried at GC so I threw the dice on a Pro Plus Soloist.

Definitely a sweet guitar and I like it. I do have to say my MJ series Dinky neck is ever so slightly better for me but this one is still great.

I also keep in mind comparing a Dinky neck to a Soloist neck is probably going to vary no matter the tier.

This is my first soloist ever. Grew up on Mij Dinky and I'm very picky when it comes to guitar necks but I think I now know why they call these Soloists.

Has Jackson tuners, FR1000 and Duncan Distortions. Not the best hardware but the FR1000 seems fine to me and stays in tune.

I may swap the Distortions however. Still feeling those out. Anyway check it out.

I think I will, I have a couple guitars for sale......then there are these 2 Jacksons. :)

Can't say I'll be content for the rest of my life but I keep it minimal and I feel like I have everything I need now except maybe a quad cortex

Thanks man, I am pretty content with it. I have a Mills Afterburner at the jam spot and for bigger or local shows and the Peavey for home/travel.

The only thing left that I really need is a live in case for the Bogner.

My current want is the Quad Cortex. Otherwise im pretty set.
