Damn! Everyone in the "Show your 7's" thread got me thinking! I play my Aviator 7 a ton, it's been the best and easiest for high up soloing - lots of forgiving room between the frets. So I've been watching for a Duvell baritone 7, and this baby popped up and I loved loved it! Had it all paid for within 45 minutes of it listing. Would've definitely sold the next day, unique finish Mayones don't generally last.
Recently got my share of my Mother's inheritance, so this is dedicated to you, Mom!
This is called "Amber Burst Raw". Black limba back, raw eye poplar burl top (with holes galore) and a pale moon ebony board! Burls aren't generally my thing, but when done right - and for me, this one is done RIGHT.
26.5 straight scale with Mayones own Velvetrone Ironside & Solium pickups. I wasn't expecting them to be so perfect, but they deliver!
Quality as I expect from Mayones, absolutely flawless just like my Regius.
And the two 7's
