Long story. Sorry. I just like guitars with a back story.
I know I should be saving money considering the coming uncertainties. But... at $135, I couldn't let this chance pass!
I have 2 guitars with odd tunings, so I thought of having a normal E standard tuned guitar, for just in case, that is easy on the wallet. On a budget, my plan was to only buy if it really means to me and if the guitar "talks to me." If that makes sense, and if it was ridiculously priced.
Backstory:
I had a Laguna guitar that I really loved playing. I tried it at a neighborhood music store and couldn't let go of it. So, I traded in my my Ibanez 7-string for it. Laguna is a Guitar Center house brand, developed by Keith Brawley, but that's another long story that I may post later. I regret letting go of that guitar as it really played and sounded good. It didn't get any mods because there was no need. So, I thought that if I see one at a reasonable price, I would take it.
Then, I found this guitar on Reverb for $150. It was a different model than I previously had. This had a Floyd Rose, so I hesitated. I usually stay away from Floyds. But, for the price of $150... which they later took my offer of $135, I had to take it! I received it a week ago all the way from Island Music Company in La Playa, MD!

I'm keeping this stock until something gives. It's already good as-is. Except for some truss rod adjustments, everything was good! I didn't even have to intonate, luckily. Dive bombs on a Floyd is just way cooler, I have to say!
Here she is, all dolled up!

I'll probably record how she sounds like one of these days.
My only qualm is... How do I clear those spots on the glossy finish?
