NGD: Fender American Original 60’s Telecaster

That's stinkin' gorgeous, @EOengineer .
:chef

Once I snag and settle on what 50's Era Tele to go with I am
all about that 60s T Custom.

Can I ask which one you gravitate towards and play more?
The 60s AO would be the keeper if I had to choose. I have a really hard time with Fender production models because I love the 50s neck (chunky) but the 60s aesthetic with the cool metallic automotive colors and occasional double binding. The AO 60s has more meat on the neck (at least some do) so it’s become my sort of Goldilocks telecaster.

The 52 reissue is awesome though, especially the one I lucked out on.

That's why I ended up going the partscaster route with mine. Fat neck on a 60s spec tele FTW. :beer

All you fat neck lovers are even more defective than the left handed players! :D
The AO 60s is fairly middle of the road and most wouldn’t say it’s overtly chunky, but it’s chunkier than what I’m used to encountering on 60s spec Fenders.

IIRC it goes from .87-1.00 with a bit of shoulder.

Yeah I have a couple partscasters with the Allparts TRO-FAT, which is an absolute baseball bat.
