Time to get some work done while it's acclimating to Florida heat and humidity. I'll post pix and first impressions later this evening.

Exceptional build quality (and well maintained by the original owner).

Comfortable weight and balance when strapped & standing, and when seated (regular & classical positions).

Hantug trem is orders of magnitude superior to the Standberg trem.

It’s tuned in B standard with a fresh set of Stringjoys in the factory gauges (.0095 - .013 - .016 - .024w - .034w - .046w - .062w).

Action is a bit too high and I'd like to slightly reduce the neck relief, so it needs a setup.

I'll reserve playing impressions until after I adjust it to my taste.

I'm feeling lazy this evening, so I skipped adjusting the setup, stretched out the fresh Stringjoys, tuned up to pitch, and plugged into the SDotD Badlander combo.

I started by cranking the gain on the crush channel to 9 o'clock and was amazed by how the Lundgren M7 bridge pickup easily sucked up the gain. Very controllable and articulate, but vastly different in sound and feel from the usual suspects in the majority of my 6 string collection. It's sounds darker than I expected, but not unpleasant, just different.

I may look into a more traditional sounding alternative set of passive pickups. Any BKP suggestions @Eagle?

The neck feels wide and flat, but that's expected for a 7 string multi-scale. The "raw" satin finish is buttery smooth, and with its flaw-free fretwork the Aristides almost plays itself. I barely notice I'm playing a fan fret instrument.

Other than a potential pickup swap, the H/07R is almost perfect.

I would suggest you live with it as is for a while first to get used to the sounds you can get out of it. EQ and gains can be tailored to produce a wide range of tones because of the clarity. M7s are very modern sounding but what do you want in terms of tone? Post a clip of the kind of thing you would like.
