Yeah, he had to tweak the design enough to not be a direct ripoff. But some of the design choices left me with an “meh” feeling.

Yes!! I still have the 357 Customs Black Label Society shirt I bought with the motorcycle.

Still waiting for my Zakk Wylde guitar though…

The one with the motorcycles or something? I remember seeing the aftermath of it on his forum but could never figure out what the full story was, just that it pissed off a lot of people and I want to say someone who handled Zakk’s website was caught up in it?

Yes - it was the 357 Customs people plus Zakk’s webmaster IIRC.

And what made it worse was that after LOTS of complaints of it being a scam and big marketing ploy, etc., they had the nerve to buy one of the Epiphone guitars and post an unboxing video claiming that one of the customers finally got theirs and everyone just needed to be patient.

Of course, no one else ever received one.
