This is really unbelievably ugly.
They've finally got rid of the awful abalone bindings and are now doing... this? I have no idea who is responsible for the design at Schecter, but this person really has terrible taste.

They somehow look cheap to me. I've seen some Zemaitis guitars in person and they can look very cool, but I think Schecter has missed the mark with the design of these metal plates.
