Now featuring Ormsby headstock :pickle

It would be quite good as a headless. I’m not sure about the top horn.
It's like it wanted to be a headless but a half a headstock popped out. I like how ormsby does theirs, this one looks like a "store brand" version.

The current Kiesel HH2 neck is 0.82 inches thick at the first fret and 0.94 thick at the 12th fret. The Holdsworth neck is slightly thicker than the shredder necks on some other Kiesels. To me it feels about like a '60s LP neck.

If you like thinner necks you can choose "build your own" where they offer a optional thinner neck on the HH1 and HH2 for a small upcharge.

I attached some pics with a caliper, but keep in mind those are adding the string height into the measurement, so .82" and .94" seems about right once you subtract the string height.

As far as weight, I measured it 3 times with a fishing scale. The guitar was kind of swinging back and forth so as close as I could tell it weighs between 5.2 and 5.54 lbs.

It's comfortable and has very good balance on a strap. No neck dive at all.

I'm radius dumb :bag:DThanks for the pics and specs nonetheless!

Radius? The numbers I posted are neck thicknesses in inches. Just for comparison sake the .82" at the nut on the Kiesel is a fairly thin neck. Current Jackson's are between .79" and .82". And a quick glance at Wildwood's PRS selection shows between .82" and .84". So I wouldn't characterize the standard Holdsworth neck as a baseball bat, more like a fairly thin neck.
That's the only issue I might have with a Kiesel. Not that I'm totally against thin necks, I just prefer them 1" or slightly under.

I like a bit of a meaty neck too. Is that one inch at the nut or 12th fret? One inch at the nut is a pretty beefy neck. I was just looking at Wildwood's site and the LP Standard '50s are like .86 to .89 at the nut. And the LP Standard '60s are between .80 to .82 at the nut. I mostly like necks between .85 and .90.
My favorite shape is Warmoth's boatneck. It's 1" end to end, but it's like a deep V so the shoulders aren't too beefy. I like a 1 11/16" nut as well.
Their '59 shape is great too, .86-.96. So more standard but slightly meatier. But I have other guitars with slimmer necks and they're just fine too. I'm not overly picky, just have my faves.

Kinda reminded me of this, ugh:
