Hi. My (mostly) instrumental metal band just released our new EP. Drums are all live except the kick, guitars and bass were all tracked through Line 6 Helix or Native. Post production done in-house.

No, it’s just the only one with any sample replacement. Everything was tracked together, but that is very much not a natural drum sound on that instrument. I HAVE had a drummer record just his hands and program the kick, but that was because the drummer’s feet were awful and I didn’t want to waste the tracking day. But that band broke up before we finished recording anyways (I wasn’t in the band, just asked to engineer the recording part).
