For $80 brand new how could I not pick this up!
I’ve always wanted to try one (I know, I know, Behringer, not exactly the same, blah blah). Especially after hearing the Fulltone Choralflange is based on it since that was my favorite chorus back in the day.
Claims about the buffer quality and low noise level also appealed to me.
It’s a very cool pedal! The chorus is on the bright side and sits nicely. It can be very subtle. Dead silent. Lots of different sounds between the controls and the 3 modes.
Definitely a keeper and well worth twice what I paid for it!
This is chorus #3. I put all three on the board tonight to compare and they’re all very different. The MXR is dark, super fat, and sort of bulks up everything. The Waterfall sort of sits between the two. Very Boss-ish to my ears. The SCF is more versatile than the other two and is more subtle. I have to crank intensity and depth to get into the realm of the other two.
Now I need a Small Clone…
