New, celestion specd wedges for the F12

This things are a little big. Probably way bigger than needed for how high my HPF usually is, but can’t wait to try them!

I've been waiting on a job that uses 3/4" plywood, so I can get some leftover pieces to finish what I need, then I'll be building a pair of those as well.

Why the 2 ports? The Celestion dwgs only show 1. And what do you plan on powering them with?

And what's those extra pieces inside for?

For now I'll be powering them with HB GPA100's but looking into some TC amp possibly

I had no idea the guy had maple scraps laying around! I thought they were going to be pine. I can't in good conscience do the wrap I was going to do on maple, so I'll be staining them...to do otherwise would be blasphemy.

I'm betting for guitar use, these could be WAY smaller and perhaps not even have ports. These are the size of rather large 12" monitors, even without the separate tweeter...kind of surprised by the size actually

Yeah I see they're not the box design. I have plans of both styles, but mine only shows 1 port, and those internal pieces are different than what's on my plans and the ones you linked. So I was curious as to why.

Nice. The first time I saw a video on the F12; it was a Headrush through an F12 in a wedge design. Even with just phone camera audio; it sounded GREAT. Interested to see how it goes for you. The power amp is the next hurdle

How do you know it was a squirrel he was trying to jam into that hole? It’s a pretty attractive enclosure.

Is there any reason to use acoustic wadding in here instead of the same roxul safe n sound we make our bass traps out of?
