I have no idea what I'd use this for, but I want one.

I have one of these and it’s pretty good for sock-stomping at home but has been severely limited in what CC messages it can send. Stumbled upon that there’s an update from December 2024 that gives you access to all CC messages. So now I can finally do what I primarily bought the thing for, which is mirror the footswitches on my HX Stomp sitting on the desk!

Update process includes updating your editor, downloading an updater plus the firmware, starting the footwitch in an update-mode and sending over the update. On such a new and beginner-focused product it frankly sucks.

Now to test if everything works as intended…

Works as intended! I’ve got footswitch 1-5 mapped on it and also plugged in an expression pedal for some fun with wahs.

Quite powerful when using both TRS jacks on it.

I’ve had one since it was released.

Mainly bought it so I could control YouTube videos without taking my hands off the guitar when learning something.
Works great but didn’t know about the December 2024 updates or if I did I had forgotten

I need to play with this. I was thinking the best use is record/home in Logic, so I don’t have to take my hands off my neck.

A nice feature is that you can easily toggle between MIDI and keyboards commands with it, so both can be set up. Just toggle if you’re recording vs playing a plugin and want footswitches for example.
