Darkglass Ultimate is cool. Feels like a more complete plug now with a full pre/post fx chain. My ear hasn’t adjusted to the new 8x10 cab, but it’s good to have that option. Awesome this got updated and not abandoned.
I nabbed the Petrucci and Morello. I had demoed Petrucci before, but cool to dig back in. They must have spent a ton of time on this one. Maybe the most comprehensive plug they’ve released. So many good tones. I’m not a big DT guy, but Petrucci has some killer presets on there.
Morello is fun. Being relatively bare bones I can see why it sunk like an anchor, but Tom’s presets are fun to play. I’m sure my dog enjoys my rendition of the Like A Stone solo. I’m gonna have to work on my Know Your Enemy opener.
