NDSP Quad Cortex

Yeah definitely. How dare they change their logo. Jackasses.

How many "Full amp models" are there in the QC?

I'm not referring to their captures or the Plug-in ports - just the full amps. Is there a list somewhere?

Changing the logo isn't the thing. Writing some idiotic "Pass me the Grey Poupon" press release for the changing of a logo is.

Oops. I said something :bag
I mean I guess people might be focused on this sentence: “It is a visual refinement that aligns our identity more closely with the products and experiences we create.”

Other than that, which is definitely marketing speak stuff (so if that’s the issue, I get it), the rest of that statement just reads like “this is why we changed it” which seems pretty reasonable to me. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I've been playing with the QC Diezels quite a bit recently, out of sheer coincidence. (Had never paid any attention to them IRL or on any modeling platform before.) The QC models are great, and quite versatile...

But I still prefer my old go-to ENGL and Mesa captures from the V1 factory content. I'll dial in e.g. the Diezel models just as close to perfect as I can get them, and then switch over to my usual ENGL Blackmore #5 or MkIIc+ captures (which I should be bored to death with by now), and it's like, "Nope, this is it."

Yeah, I don't think it's any more or any less silly than any other corporate entity's branding announcements. The only thing that's conspicuous is feeding something like that to a customer-facing website like Facebook. It reads more like an (also unnecessary) inter-company memo.
