Yeah, I don't like small things with less than 10 footswitches!!!I don’t want a fuckin dual cortex though, if I didn’t have a QC then yeah it would be a choice to make. I want the IIC+ dammit![]()

The unit in the picture already loads NAM, but it is made for bass. Many people have wanted a version for guitar. The QC V2 is on par with NAM. Why would they do this? They already have it
That's.......what the QC and NC do thoughThe unit in the picture already loads NAM, but it is made for bass. Many people have wanted a version for guitar.
It doesnt even have to be NAM. Even that same pedal focused on guitar effects and captures would make sense.
Maybe they can. V2 uses more resources though.Whatever that thing is, I'm just waiting for them to bring Neural Capture v2 to the Nano.
I think they said it was being worked on; with training offloaded to the cloud, I guess the NC should have enough horsepower for playback alone. Would make the thing a more attractive product that's for sure.Maybe they can. V2 uses more resources though.
On the contrary - I think it solidifies it; the QC and NC have the same silver / shiny edges that this teaser's...well... teasing (?) hahaThe new teaser makes me less sure about new hardware

I don’t think it will run pluginMy bet it’s a smaller device that can run plugins only (and maybe captures). Low-ish (~$1000) cost entry point.
Making a plugin player only with an incomplete list of plug ins being able to run on it would be something. My bet it’s a smaller device that can run plugins only (and maybe captures). Low-ish (~$1000) cost entry point.
Now if they are like "all plugins are now loadable on the QC along with this new device that is plugin player only" then that would be cool?
Luckily for us , I think they invested a lot of $$$$ for a NAMM boothAlso, unless the learned their lesson (lol) their last hardware teaser, the NC, had multiple feature length films teasing it.
I just think that would be an easy money flow for them - a device that makes people buy plugins, and the plugins that make people buy the device.
I have no idea how newly released plugins aren’t on the qc right at launch. It’s like they’re constantly playing catch up on themselvesThey tried that. It was called Quad Cortex, and the plugin compatibility didn't go according to plan.
