NDSP Quad Cortex

QC might be overkill for my needs right now but if the Neural Capture v2 tech makes it to the Nano Cortex, I'm grabbing one.
I can't see why they wouldn't put v2 into the nano considering most of the heavy lifting is now being done on their end and not the device. I bet it's in the pipeline

Gettin’ silly :clint

I tried out the cave reverb today. Messing around with it on full mix with my Sustainiac guitar. Adding bitcrusher and phase-locked loop before it. Making all types of industrial sounds. 'Til my girlfriend burst in and said, "What the fuck are you doing in there!?"

Warn the cats! :D

I thought with a name like 'Grind' the Fortin pedal was some sort of distortion. I didn't realise it was just a boost pedal. And that it's cleaner and nicer than the generic gain pedal.

I had an actual Grind pedal at one point. I only really like it at one setting (about 1 o'clock ish, maybe 2). Anything prior and it was too thin and metallic, anything past was too full.

Fun pedal for downtuning and thicccc amps (especially a dual rec). It's essentially a TC Electronics Integrated Pre Amp pedal

The Grind pedal is basically just a Tilt EQ with a lot of volume boost on tap.

Cut all the bass, boost all the treble, like a preset EQ pedal, and then crank the level. That is basically what the Grind pedal is.
Which is why it’s so great with the flubby dual rec for heavy tones!

A couple of weeks ago I was saying that Gojira is better than Nameless but, I think it's a bit more complicated than that.

I played the Nameless amp tonight but decided to try the Gojira cab on it and it sounded better.

So I think it's actually the cab of Gojira that's better, not necessarily the amp.

I was gonna say “hell no it ain’t” when you posted that but figured different strokes etc lol

Looks like I’ll be taking my QC to Vegas from the UK in a couple of weeks, as the travel case seems to fit the ‘hand bag’ dimensions for carry on.

However - anyone have any tips on how to play backing tracks through it so I can practice in the hotel?

Are you also bringing a laptop?
