Back in. QC incoming.
You won't hear me complaining.I know it's up there with gain lol
I found some time lol Mark V 35 IIC+ CaptureYou won't hear me complaining.
Look forward to hearing the IIc+ capture!
Interesting. I think we all have our own interpretations of these terms, but I would call the IIc more "hairy". It's subtle but the IIc is looser up top, less compressed through the mids compared with the IV mode. The IIc sounds more like it's about to burn your house down, which was exactly what made me fall in love with mine all those years ago. (Curiously, I think I might actually prefer the more controlled sound of the IV mode now. Blasphemy?)Oof I like my IIC capture better - less hairy.
No details listed unfortunately.I don't have insta, does he say anything about availability or perhaps it's a one off
I'll tell you, the V1 - V2 switch really turned me off of paying for any capture pack at all - which is good for my wallet of course. But paying 15-20 bucks for a pack from Amalgam and then having the "this is obsolete" feeling really doesn't feel good lol
I take it back. If I knock the Treble down 1dB and the Gain down about 3dB (which you could write off as pickup variances), the IIc capture is about perfect. :)(Curiously, I think I might actually prefer the more controlled sound of the IV mode now. Blasphemy?)
What pickups are you using? I used a SD CustomI take it back. If I knock the Treble down 1dB and the Gain down about 3dB (which you could write off as pickup variances), the IIc capture is about perfect. :)
Not implying there's anything wrong with your pickups - just that differences in pickups will yield different preferences for amp settings. Not that I am aware!
One of the guitars I was playing just now has some custom "Tony Iommi signature" pickups - high output but probably nothing special otherwise, as this was an Epiphone version. The other, IIRC, is a 2007 SG Standard, and teh interwebs indicate "490R/498T combo". I don't know whether this is actually true (or what it means LOL.)What pickups are you using? I used a SD Custom
Oh no that first one was meant for Chocol8 lolNot implying there's anything wrong with your pickups - just that differences in pickups will yield different preferences for amp settings.
