210 Euro on marketplace. 22kg (48,5 lbs?). First 4x12.

Had to buy it mainly bc of the weight. Sounds cool. Different than a V30 (which I have in a 2x12).

Sweet!!!

What was your experience going from the 2x12 to the 4x12?

I used to convince myself that 2x12’s could do the same job a 4x12 could when used at the same volume levels, but once I plugged into a 4x12 again after a long time without doing so I very quickly realized I was kidding myself. Even at living room volumes I prefer a 4x12.

I considered buying one of those back in the day, also because they're insanely light. Any idea what they are made of?

I remember the cab I tried sounding pretty good.

Sadly I did not compare them side by side. But from from my intermediate perspective the 4x12 is more round. More full. It's just an "allround" sound I'd say. Nothing missing. The 2x12 V30 isn't the best (I guess) so that will play into that, too. Tbh with that 2x12 I was/am never really happy. I made the thread about volume. Yes, at higher volume it opens up (V30 issue, I guess?), but at living room volume it totally sucks. This not. I can't wait to play it loud, though.

I read a legacy page that said it's light bc of proprietary ("custom") neodym magnets and a special italien poplar or birch (or another wood - I forgot), that is exremly light and "musical" (quote from the producers).

22kg is just amazing. Lifted this thing up to the 3rd floor on my own. My 2x12 is way heavier than this.

I have the exact same cab as well. It has a very unique tone profile. Very warm but also uniquely congested.

I seek cabs that have a unique sound and this does have that. The only thing I'm not sure of is the low end .... it doesn't seem to have any impact and sounds 'plasticky'.

When I use this cab in conjunction with another cab, the overall sound is huge...but that is often the case when you stack more than 1 cab.

What're your thoughts on the cab?
