So far this bass feels and plays great - with some fret spout that I'm going to take care of eventually. I expected the fret spout lol even my American Elite Strat had that shit.

There’s nothing special about this bass from other models in the same Player line, but kinda cool that 2021 models came with this logo on the back for their 75th anniversary (this was new old stock)

Fwiw, I'm in FL this week and went to a pawn shop today and saw a 70's Electra bass, MIJ. I may grab it for dirt cheap if it's still there in a few days. Plays great and has a maple neck, just needs a good going over as it's been very well used.

There’s something special about saving a used instrument, kinda like adopting a shelter dog in the guitar world lol
