Native Instruments in "preliminary insolvency"

I think my first experience with NI was with Guitar Rig 2(?), and being positively baffled I could have amp modeling on my laptop, and then change things after the fact. The tones weren't great, but the flexibility was new to me, and it was amazing. Plus, the rack graphics were cool AF.

Those brands have been limping along for a while. Rehashed shite, bare minimum updates, nothing really of note for a while.

Weird that they never really managed to even get a united storefront or combined subscription of the various brands in their umbrella. There’s too much value and potential at stake for them to disappear completely

As shitty as it might be for users (especialy in case you have a lot of Kontakt libraries), they don't deserve any better. Stunningly bad support, never listening to their user wishes, abandoning great stuff left and right (true for both soft- and hardware), all great programmers leaving the sinking ship years ago already, etc.
They can fuck right off.
And I'm saying that as a Komplete Ultimate owner.
