Native Instruments in Preliminary Insolvency

All the talent left. There's nothing left for the PE firm to cannibalize. Usually these PE companies load a company up with debt and then pay themselves huge consulting fees. Eventually the company collapses and the creditors are left holding the proverbial bag while the PE guys smoke cigars on their new yachts.

This is just a formality to officially stick it to the creditors.
 
Damn I forgot they bought Izotope and PA/Brainworx. I don’t think I’ve ever actually given NI money directly, but I use stuff from those other brands all the time.
 
The RX stuff is kind of industry standard for what it does at this point, it seems.
Yep, although Spectralayers (and others) have caught up a lot and there’s not a great deal in it these days tbh. I use RX advanced basically every day and it’s amazing. There’s some papers online of Izotopes IRC processing from ozone that are quite an interesting read.
