I had one and foolishly traded it a about 6 months back… Got rid of a few amps lately and wanted another small combo and missed this little rocket…

Congrats! I’ve been seriously eyeing these new Handwired series. How is it so far?

An AC10 is one I’ve never owned before. How much headroom does it have compared to an AC15?

we're gonna need more rhan THAT. yeah yeah, its pretty. whatevs.

hows it SOUND?
Sounds like a Vox lol… aka EL84 growl. It only has the Top Boost channel with high/low inputs. No Normal channel like its big brothers. But does have reverb.

At 10w it’s easy to get a nice crunch without making your ears bleed. Good master volume with a single channel volume for your “gain”.

This has a 12” Greenback so that makes it sound maybe a bit more “Marshall” in a sense since GBs are usually paired with Marshall amps.

With the AC15HW and AC30HW you get the choice of Alnico Blue - which is more classic Vox - or recently Greenbacks. The 10 is GB only.

vox /blue is not my favorite combo anyhow- i like greenbacks much better with any vox ive ever heard, and one of my favorite recording amps ever is an ac15 with a greenie in it, so id suspect id dig that for krangin at home!

I wonder if a Creamback would sound much different. Prolly not. But I do like the 10" CB.
