Finally put fresh strings and a fresh battery on my JP15.
Plugged directly into the Badlander and pushed the volume knob to activate the 20db boost.
AWESOME! So tasty in all three channel modes (clean / crunch / crush).
I haven't really used the active boost because it would clip the input on the Helix & AxeFx3. Not an issue with this amp.

I use mine and it doesn't clip. (But you do have to set the input gain very low, but that's a non-issue.)
