I wanted the cab, but then I was offered a discount on the head and couldn't say no.

Thank you @MirrorProfiles and @fretworn.

I'm loving the C6, but I really need to develop my bass finger-style technique. Using it as a baritone guitar using a plectrum sounds incredible on the fat clean channel of the MB mk7. Playing anything on the DGBE strings sounds absolutely magical and sustains for days. It inspires me to evolve my approach to guitar technique, and I like that.

💯

Ditto… I’ve had to develop a whole new muting technique and I’m not there yet. (I am thinking a sock/scrunchy on the nut for dampening is mandatory for recording bass tracks.)

Pretty fun to rip a lead or two on it as well

That thing is so damn resonant.

I thought I might regret getting the 100w instead of the 50w version. It may simply be my own confirmation bias, but I'm extremely satisfied with the big boy.

The master volumes have enough "resolution" in the first half of their range to be useful at less-than-stadium sound pressure levels. Also, the additional headroom helps the clean mode stay clean at volume, but I love how the clean mode sounds when pushed into breakup. The clean breakup is awesome on the 20w setting.

Just getting started with this thing and I am impressed. It's the first time I have owned a cab with V30s and it sounds even better than I expected.

I'm not getting any work done this weekend. 💯
