I’ve never seen one working in the flesh before and found it fascinating .
He’s going to make me a load more but 0.88mm.
Also going to make me some adjustable nuts and a pick guard 👍

Based on what I’ve seen of 3D printed items, I would think the ridges and texture would be problematic for a pick.

What do they sound and feel like?

The depends on what you use for filament and what you do post printing. Some can be sanded and some can be smoothed with solvents.

I would think longevity would be pretty bad, but I guess some people go through a lot of plastic picks anyway.
 
You should be able to see this pick has perfectly rounded smooth edges.
It came out of the printer needing nothing doing to it.
I have got some other printed picks that I was given free with some 3D printed pedals I bought a while back which are a rougher finish.
They are in my big pick sweet jar with hundreds of others ,I’ll try and find those and take a picture to show the difference in a bit.
