So I had this guitar built like 12 years ago. Always played well but the paint did NOT come out that good.
It’s a 25.5” scale neck thru LPC build. I stripped it down, and had it painted straight white as I was going to make it a Tommy Thayer knock off, but now I’ve decided to blood splatter it.
Got it all taped up tonight and will do the paint tomorrow morning hopefully…
I’ve obviously never done this before but I think it’ll be ok. I’m likely going to mask off a shape on the middle of the headstock and bloody mist around it to leave a negative shape. Maybe be super tacky and do a razor blade.
