Mod Shop happy

I've seen some complaints on various forums about the Fender Mod Shop. I had one hardware selection arrive wrong (but they quickly and effectively remediated it), but otherwise, I absolutely love my Mod Shop guitars. I got an HH Strat, a Tele, a Jazzmaster, and a Jaguar all through there. Rosewood necks on all four (which ins why the Start was HH - I had SSS and HSS I gor from GC already). They arrived set up well, no finish or function issues. They play and sound great, and they look awesome, too. I'm a fan.

I’ll have to check it out on my iMac later, trying to hit the little Info buttons in the options is useless on an iPad. I dig the idea of the Mod Shop, but the aspect that keeps it separate from the Custom Shop is what would deter me from it; having to work within the provided specs. I want a 1” neck w/ a 12” radius and med/jumbo SS frets on a Strat/Tele, at that point I’m just going to hit up Musikraft and MJT as my own Mod Shop.

It’s cool it exists though, any time a company opens up options for people getting their preferred specs on something is a bonus, IMO.

Yeah, I like the stock neck profile, but I love a full rosewood neck. I also like the Panorama trem on the offsets. And it's nice being able to get colors that suit me. I enjoy metallics on Fender body shapes.
