Been working on my reamp setup with my amps. (Thanks @MirrorProfiles ) Reworked this one I did a couple years ago as a dry run on the setup.

Screwed around with this yesterday just trying to mess with some new pedals and the setup. This will go to the abandoned pile.



Felt like I got the clean tones dialed in. Distorted bit has something going on in the upper end I don’t like, which has been kind of recurring with the X88. I can dial in the clean and crunch reasonably enough, but the lead channel always seems to have some sort of upper thing going on, and then I end up neutering it with high cuts. I need to experiment with a different cab. The recto straight dyna cab might not be the best pairing. Might try messing around with a GB cab or orange ppc.

I’ll give that a shot. I’ve been needing to diversify my IR collection and don’t have that pack.

No, that's it! Once I hit on that combination I was happy.

And it did fix something odd that I had been hearing in the X88 high end with gain.

That IR works for cleans too, though. And I also love it with my loaded down 1987X.
