I’ve never even thought of polishing frets before until I seen Phil McKnight’s video on all the different polishing kits and materials. So I ordered for micro mesh off Amazon. First the video was made in 2021 and the price then was $17.99 but is not 29.99 and since two weeks ago even jumped up to 32.99.
Job was much longer than I thought, took 1 1/2 hours to work through the 9 grits on each fret. Used a Music Nomad fret guard with painters tape on each side. Grits from 1500 to 12000. The results were amazing though, and worth it.
Anyone else use micro mesh or have fret polishing tips? I’m about to do my ES-335 that came from the factory with mediocre dull looking and feeling frets.
