Micro mesh to polish frets

I’ve never even thought of polishing frets before until I seen Phil McKnight’s video on all the different polishing kits and materials. So I ordered for micro mesh off Amazon. First the video was made in 2021 and the price then was $17.99 but is not 29.99 and since two weeks ago even jumped up to 32.99.
Job was much longer than I thought, took 1 1/2 hours to work through the 9 grits on each fret. Used a Music Nomad fret guard with painters tape on each side. Grits from 1500 to 12000. The results were amazing though, and worth it.

Anyone else use micro mesh or have fret polishing tips? I’m about to do my ES-335 that came from the factory with mediocre dull looking and feeling frets.

I've been using the micro mesh polishing papers for at least the past 10 years, and they do a wonderful job. However, as I get older I also get lazier, and now often use my Dremel which does a very good job with minimal time invested.

They are fine but mask your finger board whatever you do. Some don’t but it doesn’t take many times to start opening the pours in the wood not to mention tiny scratches perpendicular to the grain looks terrible imo.

hmmmm, my dremel has been collecting dust for the last 10 years or so, I should crack it out and do that as well.
