Just arrived! Dave Barber even signed the receipt!
Quick turnaround!I’ll likely flip the Barber. Keep the Cusack and still thinking about the LovePedal.

True. When I compare three pedals side by side and know what I personally like versus don’t… it’s pretty easy to tell the winners… for me. The Barber DD is a fine pedal, I just fine tune my options to absolute keepers to my ears!Quick turnaround!![]()
Hey I like it! Goes from plain Marshall crunch through to modded JCM-800 on to Friedman HBE. This is a neat pedal that lives up to its name. Would love an added tone knob for mids. Preferable with freq/level like the Metal Zone. But there’s always a wish list IMO.This just arrived! Curious to see how it does. Apologies for the stock photo IOS is acting up.

So I just compared the Power Stack from Boss to the NUX Amp Core Studio… I won’t go too deep but basically the NUX adds power amp saturation, advanced EQ and noise gate plus variable IR’s. The Power Stack sound like a great Marshall preamp without all that. I can see where both might be handy but the versatility of the NUX is very appealing. On the other hand the Power Stack would def rock a clean amp with cab/speaker. Either could record pro tracks and most wouldn’t tell the difference IMO. As far as getting Marshall tones.Hey I like it! Goes from plain Marshall crunch through to modded JCM-800 on to Friedman HBE. This is a neat pedal that lives up to its name.
