I’ve had a few Mesa’s over the years and thought maybe I get another one at some point. But with all that’s going on I think I’ll just stick with the models unless some incredible bargain shows up locally.

I do really dig some of the tones I’m hearing in other videos though. There is some extra spikyness in the upper mids and highs that does strike a Het pose.

Those tantalum caps are a great way to add a bit of mystery and intrigue to an amp. You never know when it is going to fail. On the plus side, they tend to burn themselves well enough that you can easily see what the problem is as soon as you pull the chassis and it is in a fairly easy spot to solder in a replacement.

I hovered over an head that was still at GC on the morning of 7/15.... but I respect myself far too much to become
the proverbial flipper.

Funny these chaps are asking more for the Reissue than some of the actual OG C+(+) I have seen out there. Not that
they sell, or will sell at the listed price. Just humans humaning.

As stoutly (consistently) as Randall and Mesa seemed to be about never reissuing the C+, let alone a C++, I have to
say these are strange times indeed.
