What is the general perception of Marshall with T75 in it? On marketplace there popped up a Marshall 4x12 with T75 in it for 320€. As I still want a proper 4x12, but V30s aren't that much of a fav how are the T75?

"Test out a few IR!?". Yes. Did that. But those 75 are often really hit and miss. I have some that sound stellar and some that sound not that good. E.g. I don't like Line6 stock 75. I have some Celestion IR, that on the other hand sound supercool and 80s Metal. Added to that, is that the cab will most likely not be miced. So I will 99% of the time hear it in the room.

I have no issues with T75's. To me, they are an all around good speaker that covers a lot of gound. Hard core Chugging and sparkling cleans may not be their strongest point, but they can get the job done. Marshall put them in a lot of cabs, so they aren't bad at all.

I like to mix them with other speakers. I have a 212 that I have T75 and a Greenback in it. I am going to look at a couple of M65 Creambacks tomorrow or Friday and probably buy them to mix and match.

IMO, if it's a cab in good to great condition with those speakers, you probably cant go too wrong with it. You can always change out speakers if they dont do it.

It really all comes down to the sound you are trying to get.

I absolutely love my Marshall 30th Anniversary 6960B 4x12 loaded with T-75 speakers. I purchased it back in the early 90's to go with my Mesa Boogie Triaxis + 2:90 rig. :sofa

More than 30 years later, I am still a fan, and finally have it matched with a complimenting Marshall JVM 410H. I believe @santiall previously commented that the JVM410H was designed to pair with T-75's.

when they’re right, they’re so right. Most of the time, it’s not what i’m after but they’re on countless records and more stages and rehearsal rooms than anyone can count. Worth having and at least trying for yourself as they’re so classic

I always go back to the first time I knew I was listening to a 5150 through a 1960 4x12. Cranked AND through a powerful PA. Good lord :chef

What's the problem about Stereo?

The jacks fail regularly in my experience. Which could cause other problems to the gear connected to them, obviously.

I have heard about durability issues with the stereo jack plates, but my 33 year old cabinet is still rocking the original jack plate with zero issues.

As for the plastic corner guards and side handles, they have all been replaced due to catastrophic failures. I replaced the handles with metal reproductions.

Fwiw, it's one of my go to IR cabs. But it's been ages since I've played a real one. I tend to like G12M for Marshall style tones, but more recently appreciate the T75 and what it does.

I've had 3, maybe 4 fail over the years so I just make it a habit to replace the jacks. You'd had a good run!

I’ve got no gripes with mine and actually dig the speakers with my 5153 for the heavier stuff because it allows me to drop the treble/presence on the amp more than usual while still getting plenty of cut.

I'm sure they are in the right Cab. My cabs are smaller than the 1960's, so that may be why I dont get as much.
It could also be that whole first impressions being HUGE for me and setting that bar HIGH. It's on my long term radar to grab another pair (or quad) at some point. I had a quad of T100s and I know there's some sort of comparison but for whatever reason; didn't like them ANYWHERE NEAR as much as the T75s when I had them?
