His videos are meant to be over the top but they do contain a lot of truth behind the humor. If you don't get that, I think it says more about you than him.

Nah, Marbin could do way better than that here. Its a matter of being bad at booking and wasting resources putting out lame rage bait videos rather than promoting the actual music

It's obviously meant to be comedic entertainment. It's not easy to make a living as a full time performing musician these days so a lot of people are turning to other income. I find it odd that other musicians, especially on this forum and TOP are so anti anyone trying to bring in additional income on YouTube whether it is with reviews, lessons, shilling, whatever. It's all just another form of art/entertainment, just like playing music. If the alternative is less real music and more AI music, and I think that is reality, I think it's good that people can find a niche on Youtube to keep the bills paid.

It's not remotely funny. He just comes across as a bitter asshole. If you think it's funny, that's cool, whatever floats your boat.

I don't really recall saying or even insinuating that I've got an issue with musicians having YouTube pages. I watch tons of guitar/music-related YouTube content. In fact, that's almost all I watch on YouTube.

I actually watched some of their live performance stuff. It's pretty cool, something I bet my kid would enjoy. Of course, Dani would think my kid is an idiot, since he's an upright player that also plays electric bass.

Ironically, Dani is also incredibly thin skinned and sensitive... he was briefly in a "drug band shitposting" group on FB that I'm in and dude could not hang at all before he rage quit

Pretty much spot on? EVERYONE who uses a modeler wastes all their time tweaking and not playing? That's not a generalization? Uh, okay. Also, I know plenty of people who spend way too much time fucking with their analog gear as well. It's a personality problem, not an equipment problem.
