GHS Boomers took all the good nickel for themselves, then pulled up the ladder!
I believe you are correct.

Have you tried Durian?
There’s plenty to worry about with each and every generation that has ever and will ever exist. Humanity runs a wide gamut, ranging from children who are able to write calculus books at age 10, to adults who still wear Velcro shoes.
If there’s anyone I’m acutely worried about, it’s the 65+ crowd (and growing) who lags DRAMATICALLY behind younger groups in information literacy skills, an issue that will only grow with AI advancement in the misinformation space.
The next decade plus will be some of the most difficult we’ve encountered in that regard, particularly as we inch closer to AGI and a potential post-encryption world.
Ugh I’m sorry, I know exactly what that is like.Yeah, I’m already getting previews of it. I was at my dad’s this weekend and despite him working with computers since the 90’s and being technologically minded, he gets a “wrong number” text on his phone and 10 minutes later is saying “Hey Andy, check this out, this woman texted the wrong person but now I’m talking to her!”
I had to double-sigh; A) he’s married and B) he didn’t realize it was a bot/scam/bullshit.
