Hello,

I’m wondering if the Luminite Graviton M1/2 supports MIDI state feedback in the same way the MIDI Fighter Twister does—
for example, reflecting whether a button or switch is On or Off or if it is recording.

Here’s an example from Loopy Pro, which sends state feedback via MIDI:

Even better, would it be possible for the display to show the plugin name, similar to the Melbourne Instruments Roto-Control?

Thank you!

There's a long thread of the Luminite stuff here: https://thegearforum.com/threads/luminite-graviton-m1-midi-controller.2152/page-25#post-445568

To answer your question...it supports incoming MIDI events on some level and tracking their state, but it depends entirely on the connected devices on what they support. There is no support for e.g specific brands MIDI Sysex implementations or anything like that.

For example Strymon pedals don't report their settings over MIDI when changing presets, but they will send MIDI out commands when turning e.g the knobs on the pedal if I remember correctly.

MIDI controllers with guitar products tend to be less than perfect solutions because most guitar gear does not support MIDI well compared to e.g synths.
