Lost a good boy today

Shadow would’ve been 17 in December. Things have been touch or gonfor a while with a scare of some kind every 6 months or so. Was doing great but woke up yesterday with some congestion and coughing small droplets kf blood. Went to a vet that was completely useless and said he had a new strain of kennel cough and gave some antibittoics. Started having a really bad bloody nose in the middle of the night that wouldn’t stop. ER vet identified a nostril tumor without much thst could be done. Could barely breathe and bleeding would not stop. Very difficult day for me and my ex

Goddammit Spawn; so sorry for your loss We put down our 14yr old beagle in July and it was terrible. One of the toughest thinga you'll ever do. The pain will get a little less over time but it is going to take time. Sorry

Gutted reading this. It's so hard to know when our fur babies are at the end of their ropes, especially with useless vets telling you literally nothing. We're supposed to outlive our kids but it's almost never so with our fur kids. 17 is a proud age.
