Load box started squealing last night

Passive boxes don’t help ?
I will always use passive in my studio if I can .
It stops multitudes of problems .
It depends of what the box is connecting to . If it's connecting to another passive source, like a cab, no problem.

But if it's connecting your amp to a computer, both the amp and the computer have grounds so you need isolation.

I second the Lehle P-Split recommendation.

Hahahahah.....it was the battery in my Gilmour Strat. :rofl

I picked it up an hour ago to play, turned the amp on and maybe 45 seconds later it started the noise again. Turned off the amp, moved the Suhr RL to the top of my AxeFX rack, plug in and it's the same thing. "Ok, fuck the amp for tonight, I want to play" and plug straight into the AxeFX...."EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" (actually it's more of a Mrrrrrrrrr), grabbed my other Strat and the noise was gone.

It's been over a year since I've changed that battery and I've left it plugged in for way too long the last week, fair 'nuff.

Still going to get some isolation going on in here, no point in waiting for something to happen.
