Except it won’t help FA with ground loops. Some times simple things work.
Try a passive Bugera power soak .
I’ve been dragging one around with me for ages because it just works

I will always use passive in my studio if I can .
It stops multitudes of problems .
You don’t need to hit the space bar between the end of your sentence and your punctuation.Passive boxes don’t help ?

You get ground loops with passive boxes just the same.Passive boxes don’t help ?

It depends of what the box is connecting to . If it's connecting to another passive source, like a cab, no problem.Passive boxes don’t help ?

FIFYI didn't consider that Drew canrockfart too hard while not even playing, but who knows!
EMG!!!Hahahahah.....it was the battery in my Gilmour Strat.
I picked it up an hour ago to play, turned the amp on and maybe 45 seconds later it started the noise again. Turned off the amp, moved the Suhr RL to the top of my AxeFX rack, plug in and it's the same thing. "Ok, fuck the amp for tonight, I want to play" and plug straight into the AxeFX...."EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" (actually it's more of a Mrrrrrrrrr), grabbed my other Strat and the noise was gone.
It's been over a year since I've changed that battery and I've left it plugged in for way too long the last week, fair 'nuff.
Still going to get some isolation going on in here, no point in waiting for something to happen.
