Alex, your vid wants me to rip apart my unit (*cue Nelson* Ha! Ha!) and do the same.

IIRC my Tap/Tuner never really worked good after a few months. Always jumps from min to max (240) and I hate that shit.

Update: I did this some time ago and gave my anger space in the Helix thread. It did not help.

Funny thing: After countless hours of playing since then it functions now like 80% better. The TAP still does some weird thing from time to time (240bpm), but the tuner (long press) works now without fail.

All I have to ask is: What happun'?

My first pass with footswitch cleaning didn't show any changes until after a little while of use, maybe it just needed more flushing/working in? Dunno..
