LEF Custom guitars… any owners here?

Hey all,

I’ve been eyeing the LEF stuff for a good 5 years at least. I know a few folks that have owned some and speak very highly of the builds.

I’m likely ordering an Extreme Warrior and working through specs now. Here’s some porn of a few he’s built in the past…

So yeah… anyone here an owner? If so, what are/were your thoughts?

I was PM’d on “another” forum with a fairly cautionary tale, but by and large I’ve heard positive stuff.

Those look very cool! Never heard of the brand.

With custom builders it can be very tricky. Some will deliver good work for years until they hit a rough patch and then can't either deliver the guitar or refund your deposit. Some are just straight up bad at business.

Some will communicate until you have put your money down, then it's radio silence until the guitar is ready to ship, or potentially not answering any inquiries at all into its progress. It's good to get an estimate for build time and try to make the builder stick to that.

Ideally you'd at least get some progress pics.
