for best visibility for everyone, use this: https://postimages.org/
Apparently I’m not allowed to view such a thing in the U.K. (it says content not available in my region). Any chance you can summarise please?
To get around this when people have posted something hosted from Imgur on forums (instead of using something open like 'postimages.org') -Apparently I’m not allowed to view such a thing in the U.K. (it says content not available in my region). Any chance you can summarise please?

I mentioned NAM to Eric in various threads. I suggested they incorporate NAM integration first and then take their time on Proxy. I get the impression they want the added revenue stream of a marketplace for Proxy captures whether home grown or 3rd party where they take a slice of the pie (similar to IK). He mentioned he was in talks with Atkinson. I haven't seen much of the topic lately. If you watch the original Eric Kline video on stadium from 5 months ago, at the four minute mark he starts talking Proxy. He says something along the lines of ‘open source is already doing amazing things with captures and the jury is still out on whether Proxy goes there or not’. He then speaks of proxy going beyond captures and mentions cloud based processing.
For me, this means that ‘they’re trying to do their own thing which they fully expect to equal or beat the open source stuff. If they don’t manage that, they’ll incorporate the open source stuff’.
That might just be me reading too much into a one liner on a video but I think, because there is lots of open source info already out there, there’s no reason why smart folks cannot do a great job if they’re not constrained by existing architecture (like Kemper appear to be). Line 6 haven’t done captures before and clearly knew they wanted to when designing stadium so it stands to reason they’ll either do their own absolutely unique thing *or* build upon what’s already freely available.
Just one note on the Tonex comparison. Tonex is in a very different price market, and a different usage model for most people.

Post in thread 'NAM: Neural Amp Modeler'
In other news, Steven Atkinson is brilliant and a stand up dude:

If you double click on any profile within rig manager, you're playing it.Like everything else with Kemper, Rig Exchange is showing its age. There’s no preview function. You can’t even filter on liquid profiles.
Other capture systems have a preview feature. If you double click on any profile within rig manager, you're playing it.
There are $50 Chinese pedals using downsampled NAM files that are more accurate than Kemper V1. There’s virtually zero chance Line 6 releases Proxy and it doesn’t beat Kemper V1. Considering they now have competitors products to compare with, I’d be very surprised if they didn’t release something on par with the ‘big 3’ capture tech. Especially if they want to push hardware as expensive as theirs.I hope it's successful but until Proxy betters Tonex or at least Kemper v1, I won't be getting one
Like I said before, fingers crossed. Line 6 historically has taken an unnecessary shit kicking in the past. They started a long time ago when details didn't matter. They are top notch when it comes to listening to their public and they have historically always had a great user interface but they did have to re-do their cabs based on complaints and their latest amp models are mostly better than their earlier ones. IMO I don't think their first attempt at Proxy will leapfrog anyone. Some of the other players have now moved on to v2 and have had more time to tool. I will always cheer for them and I would sell my Fractal stuff entirely if they ever put out a unit that beat them in all the things that matter to me.There are $50 Chinese pedals using downsampled NAM files that are more accurate than Kemper V1. Your 50 dollar player comment supports my earlier suggestion of getting Stadium to load NAM profiles.
