Kemper Profiler MK 2

I'm pretty sure this guy is an EE - he was somehow able to make sure that his entire guitar tone signal is aliased. Definitely got an A on his 'Crystal Lettuce' 401 course
Newsflash, just cause something doesn't fit in with what folks conventionally deem "good tone or playing" doesn't mean they can't but rather they chose not to.

Why are these people all doing reviews of the MK2 !?!?!?!?!?

Apart form the new fixed efx .... it currently sounds no different to the pre-exisitng MK1.

Sure, once the MK2 Profiling and Profiles come out .... some good A/B's will be great .... but these "reviews" of the MK2 are just such b.s !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rant over.

It’s an opportunity to show people what black paint looks like.

Classic example of how Kemper fights any negativity and dissention: :rofl

Changed the title of the thread from “Disturbing MkII Rumor.?.?.?” to “Is it true that the new Profiling needs a computer?”.

The Kemper forum is an enforced echo chamber. If anyone is found not to be singing in harmony, they’re taken out back and re-educated with rubber hoses. The place gives me the creeps.
Yep. Happened to me. I told the mods to fuck off, and never logged back in.

Imagine being so butthurt and ideologically captured that you set your forum signature to that! LMAO. Jesus Christ, some people.

What a pathetic dude.

Seriously, and as said before, one of *the* key features of the Kemper and QC to me always appeared to be the on-unit-capturing. Ok, as you can't run multiple profiles simultaneously, it's possibly less relevant on the Kemper than on the QC (which you can for example use to easily grab captures of all dirt pedals on any pedalboard, no further strings attached), but still, people not understanding that some people simply don't want to connect another device - well, that's irritating, to say the least.

And what if I don't own either a laptop or an iPad? Byebye mobile profiling I suppose.

Update: The contrarian in me lost. My Tonex has sold, and after 80 pages of this thread, especially all the talk of null tests, I might never want to so much look at a capture/profiling device again.
I'm up for buying a Kemper MK2, if the new summer firmware is a huge wet-panty party when it comes to amp quality. But I seriously doubt it. We have Kemper staff (or at least moderators!) saying they're not aware of aliasing problems... which doesn't bode well.
