Kemper Profiler MK 2

We’ve got an English pub down here that’s actually frequented by some Brits who live here, it’s got its notoriety for authenticity and has a small menu. My old band was the first band they ever had play there and when talking to the owner I ordered a cheese sandwich, mistakenly assuming that there would be more than a single slice of flavorless cheese between two 1” thick slices of the whitest, flavorless bread I’ve ever experienced. The bangers and mash was good and I gained an appreciation for HP sauce, but no more cheese sandwiches for me.
Hang on a minute.

You’re saying that an English pub, in Florida is representative of English food? I haven’t set foot in a pub in America that was even close to what an English boozer is like, the food won’t stand a chance. The best pubs here don’t serve food at all, and the ones that do food are either terrible or they’re basically restaurants that serve booze.

If we’re doing WWII food, beans on toast with HP sauce is banging. As is (decent) cheese on (decent) toast with worcester sauce.

Appropriate that we’re discussing food on a Kemper thread.

If I did this on the official forum, I’d be told I was off topic and banned in the wurst possible way

I have a LOT of YT food subs. I like these guys actually. The worst one I found during COVID was that Mark Wein (sp?) guy who just about dislocates his jaw and is so cheerful it's creepy.
That dude is the happiest guy I've ever seen. My wife is creeped out by him and I tolerate him... it's about food at the end of the day and I love food. :grin

Back on topic...

I tried to load the latest 14 beta on my MK1 through Rig Manager last night, but it failed (Kemper's USB drivers are kinda flakey IME). I then decided to just wait until the official release comes out, then I'll upgrade. I am still back on V10 something (did that update to support Liquid Profiling). Supporting the new V2 profiles is the only thing I have found I needed an update for since 2023 ;).

Really, that alone is a good thing for Kemper. My device has been VERY stable. Hope the 14 release is also that stable.

Most of the other releases since 2023 have been to support the Player, and now MK2. Perhaps this will be the last update I ever do on my Kemper? If so, it had a damn good run. I kept it longer than any amp I EVER owned. It pretty much killed my GAS. I moved my GAS over to stage lighting now ;)

I do have a metric crap ton of friends and old band mates that have some pretty great tube amp setups. Once the official release comes out I'll go borrow an amp or 2 and also track down someone locally that bought a Player or MK2 and do my own profiling analysis.

I think I will first do some quick analysis of professional profiles of the same amp from the same person for V1 and V2. I would certainly HOPE that the V2 profiles are better than the V1 (even on MK1) since lots of the V1 profiles were done before Liquid Profiling and some even before the reverb and delay engine update (which was the biggest improvement to the Kemper IMO INCLUDING V2 profiling for MK2).
