I DID decide to give it a try anyways. Honestly, I picked it up thinking, "Everyone says these stink". Then played it. It's one of the best guitars I've ever played. Shocked.

Ah man, that's the olden days. I remember those good ol' days 10 years ago when you can log into Reverb and grab a 80's preamp for $500. Now Soldano SP77, Egnater ie4, Rockmod, even a mint JMP-1 are up to $1500 and over. IF you can even find a Rockmod I. Don't even try to get a reasonably priced Soldano X88, Fish or VHT2150.
