Got the Anniversary Tonex.
Kemper is gone. I have become very comfortable with the software. It did take a bit to make it intuitive, but it is now.
Into a power amp and cab, it is SUPERB! Works great for practice or recording with headphones or monitors.
I know a lot of people prefer modeling, but to MY ears captures just sound more, “real” to me for some reason.
I use the Eq in Tonex much like I would use eq at a mixing desk, it is set to post. I also like using the VIR cabs. I am a big fan of mixing a 121 and a 57 and moving the mics to get the basic eq I want.
I know, tldr!
