Uhm, there's a Soldano SP77 that sold for €1.333 (people seem to be just crazy) and all over Europe there's just a single one on offer, coming from Italy, also going for 1.300. On Reverb that is, none in eBay classifieds or eBay. Guess I really need to grab that thing, have it serviced and slam it into some marketplace.
Anyone round these parts wants to buy an SP77?

@FuzzyAce - I found it, and not sure if it will add a lot but I'll probably throw it in the effects loop of my Stomp XL this weekend and see what she will do. Anyone play through one of these back in the day?

Thats a great pre-amp. I had one for a couple years after my Rockmaster was stolen (entire jam room contents were stolen) and couldnt find another.

I'd bet it's pretty similar, maybe just lacking one channel. But then, from all I remember, the Rock Master had 4 tubes in it...

I remember thinking so. Maybe not quite as much gain on tap. It's been a long time though.

Power amp simulation was the one thing I think my Rockmaster was missing, when using it with IRs, but it still sounded good, using it with just an analog cab sim or IR.
