The used one is in perfect shape. Almost mint.

Which would you guys choose and why? I can't make up my mind. From a pure looks standpoint I like the new one, but not by much.

You know I went around the store and was testing the fret edges for fret sprout on all sorts of these bases. Straight Fenders squires you name it. Almost everyone including the Fenders had significant threat sprout. The classic vibe had just about the least of all the basses I took a look at. Now I'm only saying the fender and The squire basses. There were plenty of high-end bases that had perfect frets.
